A pork pie that would launch 1000 ships. The burnished pastry all crimped,
crusty, chewy and rich filled with delicate and crumbly ground pork spiked
with cider vinegar and garlic. Sixteen Rand is the price for this encounter.
Add a take away coffee to the bill and take them outside to sit on the grass
under a eucalyptus or shady shrub. There’s Ludwigs Roses across from here-
blooms bearing the names of infamous South African people and places
brighten up the whole picnic scene.

I managed to get a great deal on this one bedroom apartment by contacting Greg of www.rentalscapetown.com at the last minute (about 4 days before arrival). We were travelling back to England from the Garden Route of the Western Cape and needed a safe and central place that would allow us to enjoy Cape Town for a few days.

The flat that we got is at a canal side development called Canal Quays- sort of between the Cape Town Convention Centre and the V&A Waterfront.

“A cosy and comfortable stay!”

We stayed at the Cascades on two separate occasions. It was a short but enjoyable stay. Cascades is situated in a perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Green Point Main Road. Bookings are easy and payment methods no fuss. Instructions were clear and concise. The room is intimate, tidy and makes you want to take a load off. I liked that a few DSTV channels were added, which was not available on my first stay. I will definitely

Tranquil studio in the heart of Green Point, Cape Town- I’ll be back!

We travel to Cape Town on business every few months and need a place to stay
that has safe parking, close to the business centre and allows us cater for
ourselves during the day. We opt for functionality and convenience and the
associated savings so that we can splurge out on dinner and wine in the
evenings- there’s a lot of choice of good restaurants in the Green Point and
City area.

Taken by Alison, our hospitality and housekeeping associate, from the
balcony of her house in Blouberg on 10 June 2010. Table Mountain is all lit
up which is a rare scene. Note the new Green Point Stadium at the foot of
Signal Hill (a third in from the right), looking like some sort of
inter-galactic, 60000 seater pleasure craft, parked and idling on the
common.

I couldn’t be happier with my overall experience here. The apartment was clean, well appointed, and modern. The king bed was actually two smaller mattresses put together, so it was a piece of cake dividing it into sleeping quarters for two. A 10 minute walk to the V&A; Waterfront and all the food/entertainment it has to offer. The TV had a nice channel package and the internet was fast (and free!). The property felt safe overall with visible security on patrol and at the desk. Parking was safe and convenient,
